The episode kicked off with a dramatic moment — CM Punk arrived with the WWE World Heavyweight Title and was seen walking with AJ Lee. Becky Lynch, who bumped into them, clearly wasn’t happy.
Lynch opened the show and planned to make an announcement, but dropped it after feeling disrespected by Lee. The two soon came face-to-face in the ring. CM Punk vs Finn Balor Also Confirmed
Later in the show, CM Punk was set for an interview, but Finn Balor interrupted and demanded a title shot. Although the title match for WrestleMania was already set, Punk pushed for a match at Elimination Chamber.
After some tension, WWE official Adam Pearce gave in and made it official: CM Punk will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at the Elimination Chamber PLE.
Punk clarified that he wasn’t giving up his WrestleMania spot — he was building his legacy.
Rhea Ripley and LA Knight Qualify for the Elimination Chamber Matches
The Elimination Chamber qualifiers are heating up.
- Rhea Ripley beat Ivy Nile and Lyra Valkyria in a Triple Threat Match. She delivered a Riptide to Valkyria to secure the win and join Tiffany Stratton in the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match.
- LA Knight won his Triple Threat Match against Austin Theory and Penta, thanks to a surprise assist from the masked “man in black” who stomped Theory. Knight capitalised with a BFT for the victory.

The Usos defended their WWE World Tag Team Championships against Alpha Academy. They hit their signature 1D move on Otis for the win. After the match, Jimmy told Jey that he wanted him to qualify for the Elimination Chamber and take another shot at the world title.

WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion Stephanie Vaquer had a tense moment with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Morgan claimed she was the best Royal Rumble winner, but Vaquer interrupted and asked Morgan to pick her for WrestleMania.
Morgan laughed it off — but Vaquer ended the segment with a strong statement by slapping Mysterio.

The original El Grande Americano teamed with Je’Von Evans to face Bravo and Rayo from the new El Grande Americano group. Evans hit a stunning OG Cutter from the top rope, and the original Americano pinned Rayo for the win. After the match, he tried to unmask the new Americano but couldn’t.
