After 13 years, WWE 2K26 brings Punk back as the face of the franchise, and it’s more than just a cover reveal. CM Punk Headlines WWE 2K26 Cover and Showcase Mode
For the second time in his career, CM Punk stars on the cover of WWE’s top-selling gaming series, with WWE 2K26 launching on March 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
As WWE’s reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Punk also headlines this year’s 2K Showcase mode, which features a mix of real-life moments, fantasy matchups, and an alternate-history angle that imagines what could have happened if Punk never left WWE in 2014.
Punk himself said, “Players will get to step into my boots, relive some of my proudest WWE moments, and take on challenges I never had the opportunity to face.”

Bron Breakker, ahead of his title match vs. Punk on January 5, took a jab:
“Dumpster Match… and put CM Punk in the dumpster where he belongs.”
