Kris Statlander Wants an AEW Women’s Show
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Statlander shared her thoughts on AEW potentially developing a women-focused wrestling show — and she made it clear she’s fully in support of the idea.
“I think everyone’s on board for getting to showcase their abilities… I love the idea of more girls getting to showcase their abilities because I feel like so many haven’t even shown their full potential yet.”
Her words echo a growing sentiment across AEW’s fanbase: that the women’s division is filled with talent, but not always given enough time or space to shine.
AEW’s Progress in Women’s Wrestling
While AEW hasn’t yet launched a women-only show like WWE’s Evolution or Mae Young Classic, or Japan’s Stardom, the company has made major strides:
