Becky Lynch Reveals She Dislikes Her Ring Name
While fans know her as Becky Lynch, the woman behind the name—Rebecca Quin—recently revealed something unexpected. In an interview with Nick Viall, Lynch admitted she isn’t a fan of her WWE ring name.
“I’m a big fan of a moniker because I hate my name. I love Rebecca Quin, Rebecca Quin rocks. What a great name. Becky Lynch…Lynch? It doesn’t roll off the tongue.”
She went on to explain that WWE wanted an Irish-sounding last name for her character, and at the time, she didn’t feel confident enough to object. So she went along with it. Even though the name has now become iconic, Lynch still prefers her real name, Rebecca Quin.
