Alexa Bliss recently answered a fan question through a cameo video, where she spoke honestly about her “Dark Alexa” character. She said that phase of her career was very special to her, but it is also deeply connected to her time with Bray Wyatt.
Bliss explained that out of respect for Wyatt and his legacy, she does not want to bring that character back. According to her, that version of Alexa is now “retired and untouched.” This clearly shows that her decision is emotional and personal, not just creative.
Plans Have Changed Since Last Year
Interestingly, this statement is quite different from what Bliss had said earlier. During an interview last year, she had hinted that she might return to that darker world in the future. She even spoke about possibly working with the Wyatt Sicks faction when the time felt right.
At that point, fans were excited to see her reconnect with that storyline and possibly reunite with familiar faces.
Wyatt Sicks Release Affects Storyline Possibilities
However, things took a major turn recently. The entire Wyatt Sicks group was released from WWE. This included Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy, along with Uncle Howdy.
With the faction no longer part of WWE, the chances of continuing that dark storyline have naturally reduced. This may be another reason why Bliss has decided to close that chapter completely.

After the releases, Bliss shared an emotional message on social media, especially for her close friend and former tag team partner Nikki Cross. She thanked her for all the memories, fun moments, and their strong bond both inside and outside the ring.
Bliss and Cross had great success together. They were among the early teams in the WWE Women’s Tag Team division and played an important role during the pandemic era. Their chemistry made them fan favourites.
