AEW Collision SPOILERS [1/24/26]: CMLL World Title Defended During Taped Orlando Show

This week’s episode of AEW Collision, originally scheduled to air live from Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, has been pre-taped due to severe winter weather conditions sweeping across the U.S.—including much of The Lone Star State.

A winter storm warning forced AEW to cancel the Arlington show for fan safety, citing snow accumulation, hazardous roads, and potential power outages. Fans who had purchased tickets will receive an email with full refund instructions from AEW.

But as the saying goes, the show must go on—and it will. AEW pre-taped Collision after Dynamite this Wednesday in Orlando, Florida, and a strong card is set to air on Saturday, January 24 at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT on TBS and HBO Max.

Two Championship Matches Headline Collision

Despite the weather issues, AEW is delivering a stacked show, featuring:

• Claudio Castagnoli defending the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship against Roderick Strong
• Willow Nightingale putting the TBS Championship on the line against Julia Hart

Also scheduled is Kris Statlander, the AEW Women’s World Champion, competing in a non-title match against Isla Dawn, formerly of WWE. The Grizzled Young Veterans accompanied Dawn to the ring.
