Elayna Black, previously known as Cora Jade in WWE, has officially signed a one-year contract with TNA Wrestling, marking an exciting new chapter in her career. The 24-year-old made her TNA iMPACT! debut on January 16, officially joining the company’s Knockouts division as a full-time member of the roster.
This marks a full-circle moment for Black, who first competed in TNA back in October 2019 before moving to WWE, where she gained recognition as Cora Jade. She returned for a one-off appearance in January 2025, as part of the growing working relationship between WWE and TNA at the time, while still under contract with WWE.
A Time of Reflection and Growth
After being released by WWE in May 2025, Elayna Black took time away from wrestling to focus on her mental health. After a period of reflection and healing, she made a strong return to the independent circuit, where she began accepting bookings again.
During this time, Black made a notable appearance in TNA, challenging Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Sacrifice—although she came up short in the title match.
Black’s Return to TNA: Adding Depth to the Knockouts Division
Now that Elayna Black has signed a full-time deal with TNA, she brings a fresh energy to the Knockouts division as it continues to grow heading into 2026.
Her arrival adds depth and excitement to an already stacked division, which includes top talents like Masha Slamovich, Jordynne Grace, and Gail Kim. Black’s experience, combined with her hunger to prove herself in this next chapter, will undoubtedly make her a prominent figure in TNA’s women’s division for years to come.
With her background in both WWE and independent wrestling, Black has the potential to rise quickly through the ranks in TNA. Fans can expect to see her involved in major storylines and possibly even title opportunities as she settles into her new role.
